Our quest is to assist students in developing academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. Welcome to Carver Elementary School! Carver Elementary School is located in Monroe, Louisiana. The school is one of nineteen schools in the Monroe City School District. The school serves approximately 350 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade. Carver is a neighborhood school with almost all of the students living within walking distance of the school. Mrs. Valeria Benson Principal FLEX DAY ANNOUCEMENT FLEX DAY ANNOUCEMENT FLEX DAY ANNOUCEMENT During this past week, MCSB approved a flex day for each Wednesday beginning November 18. To maximize instruction, all of Carver Elementary students who currently report to campus will continue to do so. EACH WEDNESDAY, ALL STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED AT 11:00. Breakfast and lunch will be served to all students who are on campus. Virtual students will complete assignments posted on Google Classroom, the school’s online learning platform. THERE WILL BE NO LIVE INSTRUCTION ON WEDNESDAYS. It is our expectation that students will complete their assigned work on WEDNESDAY. Teachers will be available to answer questions via email throughout the day until 3:00 PM. The district will examine the need for this flex day at the end of the semester. Any changes will be communicated to you in a timely manner.
